FATRI is an Institution for research and Training in the fielsd of Family Apostolate managed by the congregation of the holy family. It is a realization of along cherished dream of the Congregation of Holy family which was founded by Bl. Mother Mariam Thresia, the Apostile of Family Apostolate. Imbibing her spirit, the members of the congregartion are engaged in family Apostolate through creative ministires according to the needs and signs of the time.

In order to serve the families in a scientific and effective way, the Congregation of Holy family started the family apostolate training and research Institute (FATRI) at Velur, Arnos Nagar, Thrissur Dt. in the year 1987.
