Bl. Mother Mariam Thresia beatified in Rome on 9th April 2000. She is the foundress of the congregation of the Holy Family, Thrissur, which derives its name from the Holy Family of Nazarath.

The heritage and identity of the congregation is derived from the life and inspiration of the foundress.

Rev. Fr. Joseph Vithayathil is the spiritual director of Bl. Mariam Thresia and the co-founder of the congregation.
